Greetings!!! I have recently entered the very demanding, and hopefully rewarding, world of BAGPIPING. I am currently receiving instruction from Judy Reilly of The Mohawk Valley Frasers in Central New York. For those of you unfamiliar with learning the bagpipes, you don't actually learn to play on the pipes themselves. You first learn to finger the notes on what is called a practice chanter. In any case, for those interested in finding out more about the BAGPIPES, I have compiled a list of links to the left. My band links consist of Bands From New York, (where I live), Bands from New Jersey, (where I grew up), and Bands from Ireland, (the Birthplace of my Mother and both sets of Grandparents). My Father, who was a Bagpiper for many years, was born and raised in what he called the 33rd County of Ireland, The Bronx, NY.
